One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Florida! Their curries are really tasty and flavorful. I also recommend papaya salad and vegetable pad thai. The service is fast, friendly and I love the fact that they know how to make delicious but not spicy dishes. I have been to many Thai restaurants were they refuse to make non-spicy dishes saying "it is not possible, it's curry!" (Here I mean, Hooks sushi bar). Well, this restaurant knows how to make good, non-spicy curry!!! Another thing I like about Siam Garden, that they have many different ingredients. For example, when I ordered vegetable curry, my dish was filled with many, different kind of veggies (including pineapple). Many other restaurants have indiscriminate dishes, serving only few veggies like carrots, broccoli and bell peppers in their curries. The prices at Siam Garden are also reasonable and convenient. It's one of my favorite places for lunch. Siam Garden can look little "homy" from outside, but it is really a hidden gem.

I enjoyed a nice quiet lunch shortly after their opening. This was my first visit- ordered Pad Thai with shrimp and a coke. Service was quick and everyone was very friendly. I enjoyed my meal but didn't expect to get white rice with the PadThai. I'd rather of had a side soup than the extra carbs as I left the rice untouched. It was full of flavor and a decent portion size. The meal wasn't too greasy but more of an authentic feel. I'm anxious to try this again and order a spring roll as I saw another table enjoying one.

Great Thai food - I am always happy when I order take out or eat at Siam Garden. The food is fresh and made to order and g they are able to make it as spicy or mild as you want. Standard Thai food menu with a couple of unique app's and fish dishes. I've ordered the tofu in my pad thai or curry a few times and I've had better, but the flavors are still good. The staff is friendly and it is family owned. This is for sure my go to Thai place in St Pete. They will give you brown rice upon request, but do charge extra for it. Most of the time I get chicken green curry and shrimp pad thai.

Quick and friendly service. Restaurant was slowly filling up as we were there but we never felt ignored. We ordered a fried spring roll appetizer, my son wanted the chicken satay as his entree w/ a side of steamed rice and I ordered the shrimp pad thai. Spring rolls were ok. Nice crunch and typical filling. Chicken satay came out looking pretty cool. It comes out with a mini grill so you can put the sticks on there to get a nice char. The only problem was the amount of smoke coming out of the grill when the sauce on the chicken was burning. Got kinda smokey. The satay was ok, we didn't really care for it though. Not a lot of flavors on the chicken. Literally had to drench it in the peanut sauce for taste. My shrimp pad thai was good. I was happy to see lots of large shrimp in the dish. A bit too sweet for me, so I added some spice to it from the spice tray and YUM. Not my most favorite Thai place in the area but it was decent. I'd have to go back to and try their curries and more authentic Thai dishes.

One of the best Thai restaurants in the area. They have specially great lunch specials, reasonable prices and flavorful dishes. Try curry or Cashew Nut chicken (or shrimp). Never too crowded.

Stopped by here one night with the bf for a quick bite before heading home to Tampa. From the exterior, you may think it's just another hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurant. It looks small on the outside, but the inside is actually spacious. There are two main room areas. Parking is in the back BTW. We missed the turn and had to circle around. We ordered a papaya salad, a shrimp pad thai, and a curry fried red snapper (it was actually their last red snapper available). Papaya salad and pad thai were good. The curry red snapper was amazing! It came out sizzling on a metal pan. Flavors were on point. You can actually bring your own fish here, and they'll cook it for you. I'm not sure how pricing works. I'll have to try this one day. Service was excellent. Food came out very fresh and very quickly. We were not the only ones in the restaurant either. I'll definitely be back to try the other red snapper entrees.

This is probably the best Thai in St Pete. It's about the only Thai restaurant that when you order Thai-hot, that's what you get. And the staff there is really nice and they remember you.

This place is St Pete's original Thai restaurant. The food is great. The price is very reasonable. It's like home cooking from your Thai family.

Good neighborhood Thai Restaurant. The inside is quaint and the staff is nice. The food is good for a quick bite and a night of not cooking. Probably not the a date place or a special evening out but a nice family eatery just the same.

Grew up in St.Pete eating in this restaurant. Always loved this place. Moved to Denver for a few years & then moved back to the area Sept 1st. I have been goin here quite often and it seems to be getting progressively worse and fast. Woon Sen I ordered today was bland wit too much ginger, meat was dry & 50% of the dish was snow peas. Tom Kha soup was completely flavorless, no tastes of lemongrass, galaga or coconut milk, tasted like it was hugely watered down. My go to fav dish is the roast duck wit baby corn sauce, which some days is better than others, but still up to par ATLEAST usually. The thai salad with peanut sauce is usually a safe bet but today my lettuce was brown and old, the tomato had mold spots on it, the bean sprouts were dirty and there was so much water on the lettuce and in the box making it soggy. Simply put, UNACCEPTABLE. Looks like I'm gonna have to find a new thai spot.

This is my favorite Thai in pinellas. Tom Ka Gai is the best I have had. All the traditional curry's are exceptional. The specialty items are what puts it over the top, try grouper cheeks in sweet chili sauce or black pepper soft shell crab. Boon, the owner, is a great chef and will go beyond to make your experience authentic.

Wow! I've passed by this little hole in a wall Thai joint for years, and always thought it just looked like a typical, nothing to write home about thai restaurant that populates the Pinellas area BUT I WAS WRONG! Met some friends here for dinner who are regulars and was impressed. The exterior is very deceiving. The interior is small but decorated richly and the service was great. We ordered several different dishes and all of them were great. The sauces and spices they use here were so good, I was just eating them with a spoon. I can't wait to go back there and try some other dishes and am thinking this is #thenewnew thai place for me. Updated 1/15/14 from 4 stars to 3 stars I've been coming here pretty regularly the past few months as its close to my office and usually where my lunch companion wants to go once a week for Thai food. Everything seems the same but the food has been getting consistently worse. I've ordered the same soup every time I eat here and lately each time it tastes totally different - and not in a good way. The food is being seasoned differently -- either too salty or too vingery or not much flavor. Was in here for lunch last week and my companion and I both agreed that it probably won't be our go to for awhile.

Great little place tucked away. Looking for a quick bite before the Rays' game. Came across this restaurant reviewed on Yelp that had good reviews so decided to give it a shot. Service was good, price reasonable. Waiter was very patient and knowledgeable about the menu and help recommend what to order based on our likes and dislikes. We had rice paper spring rolls w/a peanut base dipping sauce - yum! Curry and rice had good heat and flavor and we also ordered another dish that had a sauce they called "jam" that was delish! Sweet and tangy and slightly spicy. They also have a spice tray of different Thai condiments to flavor up your food along with their own spiced vinegar on the table. Of course, we had to have my favorite Thai dessert - mango and sticky rice! Good thing I ordered it, as I was told it is almost out of season for mangos and this dessert and this would possibly be the last week they will be serving it. So glad we got to enjoy it! Being from the West Coast, we're use to a lot of good authentic ethnic cuisine. This place hit the spot for us. Service was courteous and fast! We will definitely be back if we are in the area again.

So I'm furiously running around St. Petersburg again, when I realize it's time for a late lunch. After the good luck I had the other day with my Yelp mobile app, I thought I would roll the dice again. Not as fortunate this time... I arrived about 2:30. They serve lunch until 3:00. I was handed a menu, as well as a page containing about a dozen uninspired $7.50 lunch specials. I opted for the Green Curry Chicken. This has to be the first time in 15 or more years that my Thai restaurant lunch special was not accompanied by a Spring Roll, a cup of soup, or both. So now I'm a little bummed. I guess I should have gone to lunch with Walter B. a year ago. I too spent time in Thailand. There was nothing authentic about my meal. It's not that it was bad. It wasn't. As I was eating, I noticed a host of framed awards from this paper or that on the wall proclaiming the place as "Best...." After a closer look, I noticed most of the awards were quite old. Perhaps I should have come sooner! The place was certainly clean. The decor was old-school Thai. The service was friendly enough. I'm just not sure it was enough to bring me back......

I always have a great experience here. Authentic thai food, smiling staff, and a nice ambiance. The pad thai, peneng curry and thai iced tea were delicious. Yum

The green curry chicken is, like everyone else has said on here, legit! Perfect blend of sweet and savory from the coconut milk, and just enough spice. The hostess who took my takeout order made sure I was ok with "non white people" spice, but really I didn't find it that bad. Only been here the one time so four stars is good enough for now...

I ordered panange curry for the second time and it was aweful just like the first time. Gave them a second chance and bad again. Also they did not take it off the check. There was oil floating on the top although it was vegetable only. Totally gross and the restaurant is dirty.

This place is disgusting. I just got back from lunch and we saw three german cockroaches...two of which were crawling on our table. We told them about it and they ignored our complaints and said they didn't see any....then they proceeded to charge us for our meals anyway. I have filed a complaint with the local health department. Stay away!!

a few friends and i had just suffered the worst parts of our hangovers, and we decided that we were pretty hungry. again, i don't live in st. petersburg. i just got in the car and went where everyone else was going. i was a very happy lady when i realized that we were having thai. thai is one of the best hangover foods, and it's something i grew up eating. as someone said, it's very unassuming. the people there are very nice -- a family-owned establishment. they recognized two of my friends right away and knew their drink orders. i ordered the tom kha gai (my litmus test for thai places), the papaya salad, and fresh rolls. the fresh rolls were good, but the sauce was plain hoisin. i was hoping for a sweetened fish sauce or even a peanut sauce. the papaya salad was alright. it could have used some... something. finally, the tom kha gai. i was so happy that it wasn't this thick mass of soup. it was refreshing, but it needed just a little squeeze of acid to make it perfect. everything was decent -- it all just needed a little extra zip. i'd go back. they're so adorable. it's about a 3.5 for me.

This place was a pretty good. The food shared many good similarities with other Thai restaurants I've been to. There just wasn't anything too unique about their stuff. It's a nice small place to have a good cheap lunch. I was in the area when I stopped by to eat. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here though. One thing I didn't like was if you park behind the restaurant and walk to the front door, along the way you'll get a whiff of a pretty gross smell coming from the place. If you survive that horrid smell, you'll be more welcomed to the smell of good food by the time you make it to the entrance. May the force be with you.

I've been going to this restaurant for over a dozen years. The food is really good, the portions are large, and the staff is friendly. I lived in Thailand for a while, and the food at Siam Garden in as close to authentic as I've found.

Great food, been there a bunch of times and never had a bad meal. Clean inside with great service. I like the grouper cheeks and fried soft shell crab!!!! Also fishermen friendly, bring your catch there and they will cook up for you.

3.5 decent thai place. a little off the main way.. unassuming. stopped here only because it was yelped earlier. I don't think I'd make a trip out to St. Pete but if I was in the local area then I would drop in if I wanted a quick cheap bite.

Probably my favorite Thai restaurant in St. Pete. Reasonable prices and great food. I always substitute vegetables for meat, and they give a great selection of vegetables and they seem very fresh. They also allow you to substitute tofu for meat, although I don't think it says that anywhere on the menu. I do wish they would specify on the menu what is vegetarian and what can be made vegan (no fish sauce or egg).

Great thai food. Period. I have been eating at Siam Garden for over 15 years. When I take my mom out for dinner this is our regular spot, and has been for years. Nothing flashy outside. Very tasty and fresh inside. They have a very active take-out business, and boast 2 different dining rooms. (Many people have no idea half the restaurant is in the quaint dining room in the back!) I mix it up when I order. Pad Thai and Green Curry Chicken are my faves. Groupers cheeks are very delish when available. The beef salad... also very good. I have a new appreciation for Siam Garden after a friend who use to visit Thailand gave them high kudos.

We eat here quite a bit. It's great. Way better than Chinese food. We get he pad Thai, Pra ram, or crazy meat w chicken. the appetizer that we always choose is the spring rolls and sometimes the crab rangoon.

Great Thai food! The food here is a cut above the other Thai places in town. Exceptionally fresh veggies are a thing I am very particular about and Siam Garden always has the freshest. Try them out soon, you shan't be disappointed. Some if my recommendations are as follows: soft shell crab in garlic black pepper sauce, prig king (i get mine with squid), nam sod, pad se-ew, and Penang curry. Of course try anything, those are just my favs.
